9 Things to do in Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach is a beach community in Orange County, Florida. And is a popular tourist destination. While there are several ways to explore the area, a car is the best way to do so. 

Aside from driving the coast, which is a fun and scenic drive, you can also explore the area on bike or horseback. With picturesque vistas, fun festivals, and a vibrant arts scene, there’s plenty to do in Laguna Beach.

It’s a popular walk for locals and tourists. The walk is fairly flat, but the sand can be hard to walk on, so it is recommended to wear good walking shoes. As you walk, you can admire the beautiful, sandy beaches and the beautiful scenery surrounding the area.

2. Visit the Crystal Cove State Park

Crystal Cove State Park’s  1,000 acres are split between two areas: one on a small peninsula, and another on the southern part of the mainland. The majority of the park is devoted to its namesake beach. You will enjoy fishing, kayaking, surfing, swimming, or sunbathing. Crystal Cove State Park is a small park with endless possibilities for outdoor fun. 

Located in Laguna Beach. This state park got its name from a natural beach cove with a crystal clear, blue-green lagoon. The crystal clear water sparkles as the small waves lap the shore. If you swim out far enough you might see a few sea turtles that call this beach home. The Crystal Cove Trail, a 3.2-mile round-trip walk, that winds through the park, where you can spot a variety of beautiful birds, wildflowers, and cacti.

5. Laguna Art Museum

The Laguna Art Museum, which opened long ago, hosts a collection of over 900 pieces of art. The museum is the first stop on the self-guided tour of the Laguna Beach Art Colony. It is the largest open-air art society in the world. The museum’s ten-acre grounds feature many sculptures and over twenty galleries that host a variety of painting and photograph exhibits.

The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the museum hosts free live jazz music. It is the crown jewel of the city, and it is one of the most popular attractions in the area.

6. Dolphin cruises and Boating
